Home?

I am hungry, will there be food today? I ate three days ago so the next meal would be in four or five days. I want chicken, chicken is good, will I be able to eat chicken today? would have chicken in my home, I can have chicken, I am going to have chicken. Here comes another one, so let’s start, maybe if I do it right I will be able to eat chicken today –Bark bark, chase, chase. In my house I could be barking to some postman, bark bark, I want the mail to bring it to my owners, bark bark. I'm sleepy, I am going to rest here.

The door is opening again, it is the third one today, bark bark, chase, chase –oh I bite him, would I be awarded for this? At home I would be, I just did something good, I just did my job.

Bark bark, I hear Frida, the dog next door, bark bark, she is hungry too. She does not know that I am going to have chicken today, will I? yes, I will, my owners are going to give me chicken. Another one? Four? Isn’t it a lot? Well let’s start, bark bark, chase, chase, at home I could be chasing a squirrel, chase, chase. I’m tired again, that squirrel is fast, I am going to sleep more, maybe if I rest I would be able to catch it tomorrow.

A loud noise woke me up. Frida, are you ok? Then the walls fell on me. I am hurt, my paw hurts, the lights go out for a second. Am I alive? Frida? Is that you? bark bark, it seems we are both alive, wait, there are more dogs around me, hello? Who are you all? they look nice. Where are we? bark bark, it looks like a human just broke the walls and hid, what is this? this isn’t home. Bark bark, we all go and look for the human to thank them. Bark bark, Frida found them.

The human looks nice, would they take me home? Bark bark, I like their hair, it is two colors, it is funny, bark bark. Frida says I need to be careful because we don’t know if the human will hurt us, but human looks nice. Bark bark, hi human, I like your hair. Human scratches my back, I like human.

Human took all of us to their home that day, and now more humans come to this house and take each one of the dogs, at least Frida still is with me. Oh wait, now I can be home, now I can chase squirrels and bark to postmen. I am home but, why do not I get attention? I want attention, bark bark, human I want attention, in home I would have attention. Bark bark, human give me attention! Chase the ball, chase the ball, bring the ball to human, bark bark, look human, I am a good girl. Human give me attention.

What can I do to get human’s attention? Oh look, their clothes are here, I like how human dresses. Maybe if I dress like human they is going to give me attention. Try clothes, try clothes, oh no I just broke it, well it was already broken so I just stylised it more. Human is here, I’m going to show them how I look with their clothes. 

Oh no, now human is mad at me. But I just wanted to look like human. Why is they mad at me? At home I would be rewarded, I look cute with human clothes, I didn’t do anything wrong. Scape, scape, I do not want human to hurt me. Hide, hide, here human would not find me, I am sleepy, I am going to rest here for a while.

Home, I want to be home, I want attention, home. I wake up, human finds me. They looks worried, human is talking to me. I go out of my hiding place and hug human, human looks sad. Human talks, they say something about me being disobedient and something about finding a home. Home? Would I be home soon? Human says something about the other dogs finding a home. Why if all of the other dogs find a home I still am not at home? I miss home.

It smells good, what is human doing in the kitchen that smells like that, chicken? I am going to have chicken, I am so happy. Human left, but I do not mind, I have chicken. Human is back right in time, I have no more chicken. What does they have in their hands? food? A bed? A plate? Wait… Home?
